What's Acute vs Chronic?

Acute conditions are things that come up unexpectedly, such as an injuries, short-term illnesses, and emotional shocks.
For example, spraining your ankle or coming down with a cold or flu would be an acute condition.
You should see your regular doctor if you are sick, but homeopathy can help support your body as you heal.
A chronic condition is something that has lingered a long time or comes back on a regular basis.
If you get a cold every time the weather changes in the fall, or you get cedar fever every year, or you have twisted your ankle multiple times, this is considered chronic.
Again, the assumption is that you're under regular medical treatment with a doctor, but homeopathy might be able to help your body heal from issues that have bothered you for a while. I'd never ask you to stop seeing your doctor or to stop taking medication.
Why does it matter?
If you treat a chronic condition acutely, for example if you just treat the symptoms of cedar fever, you've ignored the problem of why you get cedar fever every year.
The symptoms you have are pointing to an imbalance in your immune system.
We want to treat all of you and not just one part of you.
You'll be amazed how much better you feel once you start getting chronic treatment.
